This year we are planning to travel the Canal du Nivernais and Canal lateral a la Loire with a week in Paris.
Our airfare is paid for and we will arrive in Frankfurt in May then travel by train to Lagarde in France where Courlis has been wintering.
Now it is time to get our clothes ready, once again we will be going for 3 months and although we left quite a few clothes on the boat I can't go past packing a few more. We will also be taking a few things along for the boat such as a new windscreen wiper. Australia Post have changed the structure for sending overseas parcels and it is too expensive to send items that way now. We are meeting with other Perth people who also have canal boats in France, so it will be a good time to swap information of the routes we have been on or are to take this year.

Great Blog! We are thinking of doing one too as it seems like a really easy way for people to stay in touch and see how you are going. As you know we will be avidly following your adventures as always. Hope you have a great time with the kids. Maybe we will make it next year.
