OUR LAST TRIP IN COURLIS FOLLOWS THIS ENTRY
Courlis’ Trip Back to St Jean De Losne - 1225 kilometes and 256 locks.

To sell Courlis, we decided to take her back to St Jean de Losne in France where we bought her. Kevin threw a rope up in the air and then guessed how far and how long it would take us to get there. I blithely followed along packing a few clothes, pills, etc and so started our nostalgic journey

Where we travelled in Courlis

From 2005 to 2007  and again in 2011 we had had a fabulous time cruising in France up and down thousands of locks.

From 2008 to 2011 we cruised in the Netherlands  passing under thousands of bridges, cruising  big rivers big and small canals.

During 2009 we travelled from the Netherlands to North Germany through the Schwerin Lakes area to Berlin experiencing several amazing mechanical lifts and water bridges.
